Struttin' in my rose-colored platforms!

After a week of anticipation and frequent visits to FedEx.com/tracking, L.A.M.B. crepe peeptoe booties arrived at my house last night! I was so thrilled, I had to coordinate a pink outfit to wear with them to work today...Aren't they a dreamy, creamy shade of pink? They made even my size 9.5 monster feet seem dainty!They looked great with a skirt and bare calves, but they'd also be a perfect complement to some dark skinny jeans:

These pink platform stilettos were the center of attention at the office today - I have NEVER before received SO many compliments on a pair of shoes in one day! Ladies came up to me to check them out after hearing about them from somebody else - these are definitely show-stoppers. I even received a compliment from some random middle-aged man when I was picking up take-out for dinner. I don't think he was gay, and he didn't seem to be trying the cliche "Nice shoes" pickup line, so it seems these incredibly gorgeous kicks have truly universal appeal. I had no idea when I ordered these that the world would share in my lust for these shoes! 
On top of looking damn sexy, these shoes also happen to be surprisingly comfortable for how tall they are. I highly recommend you grab a pair - they are just pink enough to satisfy the girly girl in you, but also neutral enough to wear with just about anything. AND they are designed by none other than the glamorous Gwen Stefani, to boot-ie!

To pink lovers like me, the Victoria's Secret PINK store is the hub of all things girly, snuggly and pink. We girly girls tend to like things that possess all three of these qualities, and there's always some super-soft hoodie, heart-adorned boy shorts, or sparkly sweatpants there to tempt us.

For what they are, though, these frivolous little items, as adorable and cozy as they may be, seem a bit overpriced to me. That's why I try to shop there only if I have coupon to stretch my dollars!
